OUR PROGRESS

The Beginning...

I had a building and a vision but there was a lot of work to be done. First I needed to hire an architect to come in and design a new floor plan. Second, the bathrooms would need updating to become handicap accessible. Third, I needed to get the plumbing and electrical work up to code. And, finally, the ceiling needed patching in several locations. After all of this wass finished, we would still need to get new flooring, paint the rooms, and start stocking up on supplies, food, and furniture for the space.

I knew it wasn’t going to be easy and that there was a long road ahead of me, but trusted my Lord and reached out for help to other believers and churches in the area. I know that with God all things are possible, and he uses his people, unified and bound together, to accomplish great things for his kingdom. And the LORD came THROUGH just like He always does!

Transformation...

With help from area churches and countless volunteers, renovations on the center began and continued through the entire year of 2021 and into 2022.

Our Grand Opening!

After a year of countless renovations and fervent prayers, we were finally able to have our Grand Opening on March 1st, 2022. It was a great day filled with all kinds of visitors, from friends and family, to news crews, and even a candidate for the US House of Representatives, Mark Burns.
